学校介绍
三峡大学坐落于湖北省域副中心城市、水电之都宜昌，是中华人民共和国水利部和湖北省人民政府共建的综合性大学，湖北省重点建设大学。三峡大学自1949年开始举办全日制大学专科教育，1978年开始举办全日制本科教育，1996年开始举办全日制硕士研究生教育，1998年与武汉大学等兄弟院校联合培养博士研究生，2000年3月由先后直属于原水利电力部、能源部、电力工业部、国家电力公司的原国家“211工程”重点大学武汉水利电力大学和原湖北三峡学院合并组建更为现名。2013年正式取得博士学位授予权，开始独立培养博士研究生。
